We are happy to partner with KIVA ZIP to offer an infusion of capital for a 0% interest loan for businesses getting started in the Portland Mercado.  We are currently raising awareness for two loans that will help two anchor tenants get started in the Mercado.

Kaah Neighborhood Market -- is our grocery vendor, planning to offer local produce, dry goods and Latin American Imports. Kaah is owned by Erick Caravantes, an immigrant from Guatemala who has long dreamed of following in his family's footsteps of owning his own business centered around healthy and fresh foods. Support  the Portland Mercado by lending to Erick's loan of $5,000 to help him with build out of his space!

I want to invest in Kaah to bring healthy and fresh foods to the Portland Mercado.

Barrio -- is our social enterprise bottle shop in partnership with Wine Nomad and Portland Mercado, raising $6,000 to help with opening inventory and build out. Your loan will be returned once the goal of the loan is reached. Make an investment in the Portland Mercado by lending to Barrio and its owners, Chris and Tim!

Thanks to all who supported Barrio. They reached their goal within 6 weeks of starting the campaign!
